Ode to the Internet
I am increasingly amazed at the internet. A lot has changed in my life recently because of it. People can learn anything at any time. I remember when it was newer, people mostly warned to not believe everything you read on the internet. Well, yeah, don't read everything you read in books, either. Research is so easy, and well-rounded on the internet (I often think if I read a book on a topic, and someone has 200 pages to convince me, they probably can). Read a little of this side a little of that side. I think our world will be able changing drastically in the next generation. From health stuff to other areas of my life, I never thought I would be who I am today, particularly in the last 6 months or so. I don't know if anyone else is feeling the same way as I am, but I just had to put that out there. Things aren't always as they seem, and the internet gives people the opportunity to be open minded. Mark twain said travel is fatal to narrow-mindedness and prejudice. Now we can all "travel" from our own living rooms. The internet is a crystal ball. The end.
